Yorkshire Co-op Band is constantly striving to undertake new, diverse and special projects.

Previous projects have included commissioning new music as well as projects into the study of Malaysian Music, The Sound Safari (a project for pre-school children combining music and the natural world) and Have a Blow (a project dedicated to encouraging anyone of any age to have a go at brass or percussion instruments).

New projects are currently in the pipeline including one to bridge the gap between brass bands and modern music mediums.
